laquer?

i have painted my 182 alloys in satin black but im wondering do i need to laquer them or not

"Lacquer" will make them shiny mate but it also protects from UV ect... if you want that Matte look then just leave them as they are.

If you do lacquer them, try to be some 2k stuff, not just any old off the shelf halfords jobbie.

What paint did you use on them? only reason you would not lacquer is if it was a single stage paint. Otherwise you should always lacquer for a lasting protected finish, use dull coat if you want a matt finish. (Just remember dont buff it, else it wont be matt anymore!)
