What benefit would u get from fitting larger injectors??? I mean could u put larger injectors in and feel the difference or would u need to go with a few more mods, i.e cams, pistons....... etc???

You only need bigger injectors if your std ones are going above 85% of their limits. Even if this happens, you can still get a PBV and get the fuel pressure at the rail by 0,5bar more.

this should be checked on RR with a fuel pressure gauge, wide lambda sensor while remaping 27C256 eproms.

Bigger injectors wont give you any more power bigger injectors need to mix with more air to make more power.

Most people increase the amount of air going into the cylinder by intake mods and intake porting. But you need more fuel to mix with the air to make more power.

The standard injectors are running at 80% max potential which many people take to be the safe limits for injectors you could run then at 85% max and 1/2 bar more pressure so be able to run about 185hp but why risk it IMO running at to little fuel means the engine can be seriously damaged.

If you inted to do more than just an intake and exhaust mods Id go for injectors as well. Someone is bound to disagree with me though saying there engine lasted 10 million miles with 220hp but thats my opinion.

Bigger injectors mean you can take advantage of the extra air in the engine other mods have given you.

You will need the engine remaped with bigger injectors though.

Air is more important...im pretty sure an engine wouldnt run without fuel. And If you run too little fuel...im also pretty sure that the engine wont like it at all....

BUT, if your refferring to the fact that air is the vital ingredient in power production, then yes....adding fuel is the easy part.

At what sort of level of power would you recomend new injectors? I would think 190 is about the safest you should push them with standard pressure especially if you drive it hard

i wouldnt go that high on old injectors without at least testing and sonic cleaning of them. Most are really gunked up and/or cracked.

They are rated at 52bhp each I know that much (Which is why Im running 043s in my car now 75bhp each).

i think they are high impedance, where the older clios are low, pico yes......and much smaller.

You wont need bigger injectors until you start running forced induction, the stock injectors are no where near their limit. Even running low boost (under 5psi) the stock 16v injectors should just be able to cope.

Forget about changing your injectors and spend your money on something else. Like someone said earlier, if you do want more fuel thrown in, then just up the rail pressure.

At the mo ive only got, ind kit, magnex exhaust as my mods, looking to do some more.

N20 would see your single largest immediate gain yes.
