Largest install size at the minute?

Just curious really. I reformatted the PC on Tuesday night and in the process of putting stuff back on, I was wondering what the largest install size is that you've come across, recently?

I reinstalled Shogun 2 and that tipped the scales at 26GB - even though I haven't got all of the DLCs for it. And iirc, Napoleon with the DLCs included is north of 27GB??

It's all come a long way since my first PC with Aces of the Pacific taking up 7MB and then panicking when Ultima VII required 21MB to install. That was back in the days when the hard drive alone was only 52MB in size - lol.

Probably Shogun 2, complete with it's addons. Massive. It's all the artwork that takes up the room.

Fall of the Samurai is a standalone game now right and doesnt require Shogun2? I wonder if thats any better in size i will take a look later.

I was wondering where all my HDD space had gone! I had no idea that Shogun 2 was that big!

Not played it since the entire country, even my BFF neighbour who used to love me, decided to simultaneously declare war on me for no good reason and crush my entire navy like a bug.

When you could fit 2 games on a HD 3.5" floppy, those were the days.

if fact, the games were better then too

We used to get "Menus" for our Atari ST. Basically some hacker groups would crack 3 or 4 games and then put them on a single disk with a cool opening menu to choose the game. Usually with a pic of a sword wielding hotty and some bangin' tune to go with it.

Lol. I was an Amiga person through and through. But I do recognise Atari's influence with my wallet ;)

Not forgetting I still have my 2600 Woody at home too!

Brother has all his sims collections on my pc, Iv put them all on one hd'd but Jesus did I know it totals up to 100gb almost, with more upcoming add ons lol

Only games I have that take up some what allot are GTA with modded content and battlefield 3. That's it

Flight sim had no limit to how much space it could take up.

escpecially after you've plotted the whole globe with textures and added the combat add-on. ooft.

I thought Dragon Age was large at 22GB. I read something recently on the subject that the largest is a flight sim that if you have all downloads has the whole Earth and comes in at over 70GB Ffs.
