leakin roof

anyone got any ideas when it rains and i get in my car to go for a spin i turn a corner and get pi**ed on. but also cos my sensor for my alarm is in the roof console the remote lockin dont work. any1 got any ideas and prices.

Normally it is the ariel - try removing it and sealing it in. (Although i am not sure where the arial is on the 16v)

The aerial is right above the the alarm sensor mate. Sure you know that. Yeah I had this problem. I got some silicone selaent from B&Q (the clear stuff) and sealed it up.

Also that didnt stop it so I took the sunroof apart cleaned it. Put some silicone around the roof and in between the outer edge of the frame and the seal. So it still opens. And then put the frame back in. Then until it dires properly which is a day or wo. Put a bit of vaseline round the edge

Hasnt leaked since. Touch wood

yea i had the same problem a new sensor plip cost £140 from renault!

mine is leaking again.. damn.

Better get that silicone back round the sunroof surrounds.
