Leaking high pressure pas pipes

  clio 172
Ive just removed both of these from the car and was going to send them to pirtek to be repaired.

Im not sure if both are leaking or just the one pipe .

i'd like both to be replaced then I know I shouldn't have any issues . I found a hole in one pipe but I've got a feeling the other was leaking from the union .

any ideas how much they charge to make the two ?

Cheers

yeah they have wierd threads from memory, not something pirtek can do, I'd get a new pipe front Renault if it were me

New pipe where it goes into the pump is something like 170 quid as it comes with the sensor built in.

They hole themselves for a past time too.

Ours did it, then spat onto the aux belt, which slipped and went under the cambelt and mashed the valves, Joy!

Yeah I've seen that it seems to be a common problem that they fail .

i thought I had read that pirtek had made them up for someone on here .

i will have to get a 2nd hand set and hope for the best I guess :)

Problem with secondhand ones is they often dont reseal properly.

If you are going to get a secondhand one try and take it off with the pump ideally (and check the joint is dry when doing so) so you dont have to undo the seal.
