Leaking sunroof!!! Can anyone help???

Hi

After i had washed my mk2 clio today I opened the door to find water leaking in through the roof around the passenger pull down sun visor. I think it could be coming in through the sunroof but im not sure. Can anybody help or advise me what to do??

Its a 2001 clio expression mk2

make sure the seal is in the frame right, make sure the seal is clean and not mossed up also clean the glass.

had EXACTLY the same problem with mine, just go to a sunroof or windscreen specialist, they re-seal the entire unit, probably talking about 100 quid though

Il have a look an try cleaning it, if that doesn't work il have to go woth the costly option!!

thats what i had to do, the seals tend to split where they are joined to the main shell like, but it leaks so badly cus the water just gathers there and just goes straight through the split in the seal.

When you say split do u mean it as in torn, or do you mean it has just cum away from the body of the car and needs pushing back into place?

Rubber tends to perish in the elements after a while im afraid, i have come to my car a few times and had water drip on me.

Haha yeah true, just glad my leak is on the passenger side!!!
