leather care

  Ford Fiesta

what should I use to protect the leather in my car, dont want something that is going to smell or change the texture or colour of the leather just to protect it from sun/cracking etc thats all.

autoglym leather care is good fairly scent free and doesnt leave a shiny layer after use.

you can pay sill ymoney for leather care products but it aint worth it imo

i second iceblue182 the autoglym is £5.99 and it is really good, i know of people using it for horse saddles too over the traditional saddle soap.

but do you just use it on the side bits on the 172 MK2 NOT on the alcantar bit right?????
guess so, thats what I mean I dont want something which is going to leave marks on the alcantara either. Just something that is going to protect it from cracking etc. I wouldnt have thought we need anything in particular for the alcantara? just a good vacuum every now and then?

Ill look at the auto glym stuff, i use autoglym for rest of car anyway.

P.S Is it worth getting a seat cover for the 172/182 seats, do they look knackered after a bit the alcantara bit I mean?

yeah thought of that, think renault do some which are compatible, not sure if i need them though, what do 172 seats go like after couple of year?
