i have just bought some blue led indicator bulbs for the car but was unsure after whether they would be legal, they will be going in clear repeaters. help needed as i dont want to get done over if they are illegal.

Do they flash orange? Then no probs they are legal. I have blue diadem indicators. Look blue but flash orange when indicator is working!

Like carina says , if they flash orange they should be ok . If they flash any other colour you'll get bummed by the coppers .

they cant flash orange if they are 'blue' LED indicators. therefor they are illegal.

Yep orange ones went back in ;) Didn't think the blue ones suited a silver car! I don't think they were terribly bright either.

Ah i get ya now - i have a blue car :rasp: so thought they looked good

Im thinking of changing the side panel indicators to a silver diadem too - cos the orange looks odd! :(

what a stupid question, take a look around...

- Indicators are orange
- Brake lights, rear sidelights and rear foglights are red
- Reversing lights are white (as, FYI, headlights should be)
- front foglights are white (and illegal to use if there is no reduced visibility)

anymore questions? just let us know...!
