love it!! I was looking at these on ebay the other day, my mate had a 2.0 Turbo one about 10 years ago, we ramped the boost up on and stripped it out, this is the only video ive got of it, taken on a nokia 3310 by the looks of it lol!!...

IIRC the volvo has parallel springs which are fine to chop as long as theyre long enough to stay in place with the damper fully extended.
When it got bad was people cutting modern beehive springs which then didnt sit safely in the seats
