I got xenons side light and dipped beam bulbs in my clio, was wondering will it pass the MOT with these in?

I also got 40mm lowering springs in front and back and was wondering if it will pass with these either?

Lowering springs wont be a problem as long as they haven't been cut from bigger springs, xenon sidelights I'd advise to ask a mechanic before going to MOT.

One of my mates got failed one year for having 35mm lowering springs in and the next year it passed?

I very much doubt you have Xenon sidelights, you mean you've got some funky aftermarket bulbs?

Put the standard ones back in for the MOT to play it safe.

Lowering springs should not be a problem.
