Ok I take back what I said about f0xy's Sigma being a beast.. that is flippin' huge! Would love to see you attempt street candids with that. :p What will you be using it for?

Daren't even ask how much that cost tbh, having just looked at the 200mm f/2L at Jessops!

Cheers. Well this is discontinued now but they still up going for £2,500 or so. Same as Canons new version.

This is only a rental for now, should have my own copy in the next year now. :)

LOL! Its for the Roller Derby over the weekend. since its at Earls Court, I have never shot there so need to make sure I can get enough light to work for the day.

Front element is 130mm. :) Here is me using it. lol

So what would you typically use a lense like that for? What will it do that say the second and third lenses won't that you have pictured there?

Just got into using SLR's at work and it's a mineeeeeeefield!

Due to its mahoosive aperture, it means more light can enter giving me better shutter speeds.

I shoot a lot of Womens Flat Track Roller Derby events and one of their shooters for the London Roller Derby Events.

It is usually gym's so they lighting is terrible and white balance is a pain so you either have to use a flash or go high ISO to keep your shutter speeds up. I personally dont like using flash due to nasty shadows so this lens is perfect for what I need it for.
Wouldn't like to pay for a B+W polarizer for that bad boy! :|
Possibly a kidney or a liver. It has a 58mm drop in filter near the mount so it can still take filters. CPL's would be a pain.

If you guys thought one of those were bad, heres something special.
