I've only ever tried it once, use it for my avatar on WLM and Flickr sometimes.

Did you get someone to help you btw Rob?? Kinda looks like a women's shadow in the shot, reaching down to the arm of the light figure?
 
i shot these about a year ago for a project for uni.

and im currently doing something similar but its not finished yet, heres just a test shot, i shot it in my garage so its was totally dark. with a pure black background i can then layer it over another enviroment later on and just adjust the layer blending option to remove the black

yeah but you dont need to photoshop yourself out as the exposure is so long you become 'diluted' into the background
 
cool stuff, i've tried a couple of times...i like this one i done a while back using the same technique....see the ghost? ;)
