Im going for 15 superleggeras they weight only 5kg a corner compared to 9kg a corner for willy/valver stnds... 16kgs is a good saving imo

  Mazda MX5 1.8

interestingly saving 1kg in unsprung weight is equivilent to saving 2kgs on sprung weight

so if u save 16kgs on different wheels its like removing 32kgs from the car!

maybe you all knew that already.....

I went from OEM 182 rims (9.7kg) to Rota Slipstreams (6.3kg). Total unsprung weight saving of 13.6kgs  :D

i thought that the team dynamics pro-race 1.2 were light due to being a touring car wheel ? thats their selling pitch anyway... they are a light wheels tho iirc.
