Lights in dash

With regards to the speedo, rev counter etc, they are all orange/red, how hard would it be to get these bulbs replaced so that they light up blue?

Dont think u can m8, its easy to replace the bulbs, just remove the dash and lower steering housing to gain access to the 4 securing screws on the instrument pannel, then remove it and on the back you can just unscrew the bulbs.

However the bulbs are clear, and there is an orange plastic filter element covering it all. Youd need to replace that, which im not sure u can. You would have to remove the speed/rev counter labels etc and the speed itself, which is very difficult. Then you may get problems of the needs sticking etc when refitting .

So I think it is possible, but i have no idea where you could get a blue filter element from, and overall its a big job!!

rite ok mate thanx, just a thought! cz i want blue neons inside my car, do u think this will clash wiv the orange?

na m8, i got blue lights, one on each side down by me feet. they dont clash, but depends how bright they are i suppose, shud look alright n e ways. Are they propper bright strip lights?
