Lights On = No Cruise Control

Got a snag with my cruise control, its fine when the lights are off and if I switch the lights on while still in cruise control it still works until I overide/deactivate it or try to switch it back on when the lights are on. The speed limiter is not affected. Every thing worked fine until I fitted some plasma effect dials they have since been removed but it's still not working correctly - any ideas?

Probably the brake or clutch pedal switches-most common problem. I have 2 new ones spare if you decide to try them.

are the brake or clutch switches easy to get to coz my cc hast stopped working but lights up i just cant use the steering wheel buttons anymore
