Liverpool Sound City Festival

Yesterday I shot the Liverpool Sound City Festival, luckily I managed to get a photographer pass including the pit pass so I was very free in terms of where I could go which opened things up nicely.

The festival itself was fantastic with some great artists performing, and behind stage I spent a bit of time with the Aussies - Kid Mac and DUNE RATS where I took some behind the scenes photos and had a chat with the guys who are mentionably eccentric, but really good to talk to and loved my work. Kid Mac asked me to take a huge group shot also, including them, DUNE RATS, a few other associates and of course - the crowd.

From then on it was other random photos from the various venues that were spread across the city, which is the beauty of this festival.

Thanks, man. I was getting a mixture of things really, the style of the photos in the different locations better reflect the mood/atmosphere at that particular venue. For instance, the fisheye ones were taken of a rather eccentric bunch (if any of you are familiar with the DUNE RATS you’ll know what I mean). So basically there’s thought behind the styles to reflect the particular mood
