Locks on wrong side

Bought my 172 2 weeks ago and it has a lock in the door on the passenger side but not on the drivers door surly this in wrong. But it could be cos its an import.

Usually this is beacuse renault are cheap...remember that it is built in France so that would be the drivers door over there.

Its on all cars including UK cars

Its a UK car. The passenger door lock is the only key activated lock on the car. Oh the joys and quirkiness of the old French eh? :)

  172 Cup

Confused now. Mines a March 2003 car and it has locks on both sides and the key operates both of them.

Yours must have been built on a good day in the factory....

Maybe a worker got some the night before and thought he would be nice to your car

Mine is a 2000 MK1 172 and ithas them onboth side.

What ya worried about, people pay to have that done to there cars, at least yours will be half price when you want it delocked

lol

Mines September 2003 got no lock on drivers door. Never even looked passenger side I will have to do that tomorrow (could go out now but neighbours prolly wont appreciate my pants lol)
