Logitech G25 owners - how many have we got on here?

.....and more importantly, do you think it was worth the price?

I personally think its superb and is being woefully under-used by me at the moment. Too many non-racing games attracting my attention at the moment.

  Citroen DS3 DSport
I bought one a year ago complete with race seat and think it is excellent although under-used.

  Cupra
Tried one but could not actually get used to it. Colin Mcrae Dirt was more a game of pinball with the car bouncing off the side rather than a driving game.

TBH that always happens at first when trying a wheel. The G25 though, once mastered, is the best in its class. Fantastic in Dirt TBH, it goes light on gravel and snow...ultra quick reactions actually work too, unlike some wheels I've tried.

second that as well, under used but when in action its amazing. F1 is good using the wheel, just need some really decent driving games now.

  911 GTS Cab
i have one, don't use it very often though as its a mission having to attach it to the ironing board.......

Might have to borrow it again and give it another shot. I loved the idea but the lap times were shocking. lol

It's all abouit tiny, smooth inputs. Big inputs at speed = crash, just as would happen in real life. Trust me, once mastered, the G25 feels so smooth and natural you'll wonder how you did without it. I'm considering buying another wheel just for Forza 2, as I'm not getting on too well with a pad after so long with a good wheel.

  Audi TT 225 Quattro
same as above really, got one and a playseat but hardly use them :( excellent piece of kit tho

I think that's the beauty of it. In a subtle (but obvious) way, it improves your driving in the game - in particular the GTR series. Is it because it feeds the PC with far more sensitive inputs than a standard wheel? Or is it because it feels so well built, you associate the wheel more to real-world driving?

I'm not sure - and that's probably a bit too deep to think about for a bloody gaming wheel! But it has helped me a lot. The cars feel more 'alert' with this wheel that the others I've used.

I think what really helps is the weight dazza, when you feed the car into a turn you feel it loading up. It resists your effort in a realistic way, and reacts to changes in grip etc. Simply excellent. Plus yeah, it is quite solid feeling and doesn't feel flimsy.

I'm going to have to get mine setup on TheBeast3 again TBH.
