I dont complain and its not all loans and no help from parents in my case.
I work 18+ hours a day throughout the summer for 7 days a week for 3 months!

Thats pays for cars and my uni along with my loan to pay my accomadation.

I want to upgrade my camera but think a digital SLR is the only option really

OMG, your pics are amazing, i need to start using a tripod as all my efforts when its slightly dark are blurred.

What camera are you using?

Its a Canon 350d, i have an assortment of lenses also.

A tripod is a must really for nightshots along with a cable release so you don't touch the camera at all. Oh and use the "full manual" setting of the camera so you can tweak everything your self.
