in looking at doing my bonnet as it has water marks and all kinds of marks left by birds etc lol i was wondering is there anyway i could use polishing pads in a d/a orbital sander?? would it work?? ohh and magnetic L plates leave mark's in your paint

yea i dont see why not, just keep the rpm down.

as they've said above plus make sure you keep the pads water or esle you will F**k the bonnett

upto you really, tbh with a da you wont be making the panel too hot, so you wont need lots of water, just throw a bit on for lubrication and to keep the polish nice and smooth.

you'll see what i mean.

i just dip my hand in a bucket and then flick the water onto the panel, thats usually enough
