From renault it will take about a week maybe more. There is a company which does basic keys for around a tenner which work, have a look on the net, i think i found one company in yellow pages.

Good luck with it

lol:slap:

ahhh crap, i'm gonna need a new alarm fitting aswell, cos if i cant find the fob then i'll have to rip that one out. the standard renault alarm didnt work iirc.
central lockin receiver in roof? umm where do i find that then lol.
no chance of waitin a week for renault to get a key, need to shift it off the drive so that its safely behind the gates, the thing that worries me the most is if i've dropped them outside without realising and some chavscum has picked them up and is waiting to come for it when nobody is around:dapprove: , i can't jack it up where it is to take two wheels off cos i can't get the jack under it:rolleyes:

ok mate cheers, whereabouts in the roof is the receiver? is it that thing near the sunroof thats black?

Just the key from Renault is about a tenner.

If you want the standard alarm fob (which I'm guessing you don't) that would be another 70odd!

Found them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
thak f**k for that:clown: they were on the top of the bookshelf on the landing:S
managed to gey a spare from renault before i found them though, rang sunwin at derby and they were useless, rang gordon lamb at chesterfield and Lee the bloke in the parts department was very helpful, couldn't find the code on the database but rang me back after ten minutes and had located a code for a new key to be cut, cost me £15 for a blank and then £5 to be cut at pollards, (no vicky wasn't in today;) ) .

so £40 later ive got a £5's worth key and no stress anymore:eek: :D
