Lost my locking bolt key :(

  Storm Grey 200
It seems to have disappeared from my car unfortunately. I have a picture here if thats any use? I would like a replacement key, however they were on the car when I bought it, so I am unsure of the brand.

Ideally I would like a new key if anyone can help out with that?

They look more like McGuard ones rather than the Renault ones so you might have some luck.

Unless you have the documentation that came with them in the service history you may have problems having another key sent to you.

I recently broke my Renault key and it takes 8 weeks for them to send me another so I got mine removed by a mobile tyre fitter with a special tool.

I loose mine every coulple of months lol, dont ask how, I've lost two now....

Renaults came with them as standard, check your books see if there is a sticker there with wheel nut code on.

They look like McGard ones and you'll need the key code to get a new key.

I had the same problem so a dremel, lump hammer, giant screwdriver and over an hour per wheel was the solution.

You may find a garage that can remove them or try hammering a socket over the it.

There is a tool that can be used for these much less destructuive than actually hammering a socket over and damaging wheels.

It uses what looks like brass inserts inserted into a good lump of a weight which is then hammered at the locking wheel nut matching the groove in it it can be turned with a wheel brace and takes them off without a mark on the wheel.

Generally have to beat it on with a sledge though.

i have 2 different tools that would have that off in 15 seconds flat. Posted links to appropriate tools in the last couple of weeks
