Lost pics in my pc...help!

I downloaded pictures and videos from my camera to my pc last night.They were from my Africa holiday a few years ago and they are lost.The program deleted them from my camera after downloading but l can't find them on my pc.

Is there a program available that can search for jpg's/mepg's/video files and find them wherever they may be on a pc?

Go to windows search, search whole computer for *.jpg or *.bmp etc....

Upload some more pics from camera and see where it uploads them too in programme?

Tanzania in 2006...could have gone back last week but had to work
