Is it me or are there a lot of people selling their clios?

Especially the 182 owners.

a) to upgrade to somethign newer or faster

b) changing to other makes

At a guess Id imagine most of them are sick of being treated like scum by the company they bought their cars from?

new shape on the horizon will push prices down even more is one thing. Other thing could be that theres have been so many sold! Lets face it 172s and 182s are everywhere so proportionally there are prolly no more for sale than most other cars

The 172/182 are far bigger sellers than the 16V/Williams ever were. Not sure of the sales figures though.

People who would never have bought a hot hatch in the day of the 16V/Willy are now lapping up hot Clios from what I can see. There are a couple of car supermarkets in south Wales and its not uncommon for me to see a few 172s a day, whereas Ill probably see one or two 16V/Williams a week (saw a Willy today lol!).

There will always be a HUGE market for French hot hatches in the UK...

Thus therell always be a large number of them in the second hand market.

I remember looking for a 206GTi before deciding on the 182... there was a huge number of them in Autotrader, especially up north.

We love the French really...
