loud deep whiring squeling noise

hi everyone,

I've got a loud deep whiring squeling noise coming from under the bonnet on my 1.2 clio. Was driving as normal when it started all of a sudden. It sometimes gets worse when i put my foot down on the clutch or change gear. Just had the timming belt changed about 10,000 miles ago. Any ideas what it could be?

I'd take it to a garage could be the bolts etc on the cambelt havn't been done or the aux belts slack etc.

if its a sort of droney whine it could be the cambelt is over tensioned.

alternator maybe, change of load on it can make it slip, so changing gears etc. dunno about anything other than mk1s tho ;/
