its the lower engine mount, its shaped like a dog bone

If I recall right, the dog bone can be got from andyspares quite cheaply, it is the top engine mount which is a renault only part. You are looking at something around the £20 mark for dogbone/gearbox lower link. The engine mount that has to come from reno is about £70, hope this helps you. Also they are surprisingly easy to fit, thought they were going to be awkward as hell but not as bad as you would anticipate.

Think you might have to phone. If not motaquip definetly done for £20, I think that this mount is possibly shared with other lesser model clios (diesel perhaps) although im not certain. However I definetly know its not a dealer only part unlike the drivers side engine mount.

how firm are they from new, cos i know Nick at Hill Power does an uprated one, an i dont wanna get the standard one only to find its too soft for my liking

though, if its £20 then that would be nice

i called Nick today and he said the RT version he does is £30 plus vat



so im orderin one in the mornin

some string wud probably be better than wot ive got now, i saw it when me car was on the ramps at kwik fit, its served the car well no doubt but its had its day

i have just ordered my uprated dog bone 2day from hill power it cost sum thin like £73 inc post&packing also ordered the top engine mount £70+ from renault but the part has to come from france i just have to get the gear box 1 now.i also had to buy 2 track rod ends which are £10 each and 2 ball joints which are £5 each and i have to buy some new springs because 1 has broke so i might as well get 30 mill springs

i called him today an he said i should get it tomorrow

he wouldnt tell me on the phone what he does to em to make em uprated, he said its a trade secret lol or somethin like that, phone him an ask him about it
