Lowered the rear of my motor today by 25mm and fitted my new SPAX rear shocks too, looks sweet!!
Tis really easy lowering the torsion bar, dunno what i was worried about lol! I have been putting it off for months he he.
Was gonna fit my new front shocks and springs, i took both front wheels off undid a pair of bolts either side then move up to remove the top, look in the Haynes manual and guess what size spanner it says i need? f**king 21mm, only spanner i aint got, only spanner not in the workshop and not one of my has one!!!
f**king Renault b******s so had to put the front back together again! It took me 1.5 hours to take the fron shocks apart as the nuts were rusted like a good un!!And after id finished and was putting tools back guess what i found in the tool store?? A bloody slide hammer!! I could of done with that 3 hours earlier! Anyway that went straight into my tool box lol!! Along with a set of Spring compressors
So if anyone wants there car lowered give me a shout n ill gladly help and bring the tools!
