Lowering 60mm

  Disastra Coupe
Hey Peeps!
I've got a 1998 S Plate Mk2 Phase1 Clio. Been offered some 60mm lowering springs. I know I could do with struts for lowering this much, I will sort that out. But what is it like for rubbing when lowering the car this much on 17" alloys? And what if I have 2 people in the back? It's either 60mm all round or 60mm front, 40mm back. Just would like to know how much it rubs. Thanks :D

You shouldn't have a problem at all. Dutty had 17's when he had 60mm springs and ive got 16's with fairly big profile tires on lowered 60mm on G-Max. never get any rubbing even with a full load of people. it will be fine mate.

yep, I had my old clio (same phase) lowered on 60mm springs, 17"s, full car, no problem.
