Lowering and Spacers

hey;
i want to lower my car around 30mm & put 30mm spacers on the car
just wondering if i could do this without the wheels rubbing on the arches etc.

30mm spacers?? Do you mean 3mm? AS for the rubbing etc, we need more inf on size, offset, tyres etc, etc... mate

I am interested in this too. But I think 8mm is the max you need to go each side.

they are the standard dynamique alloys, so the tyre size is 185/45 R15
http://www.performancealloys.com/alloy_wheel_spacers.asp only do spacers that widen the track from 10mm to 40mm.
I thought if i widened the track by 20mm then the wheels will sit flush with the arches.
8mm wont give much visual effect will it?

i'g go NO MORE than 5mm per side

not necessarily because the alloys I'm on are ET45 whereas standard offset is ET37.5. So with 5mm spacers on it brings it closer to ET40, therefore closer to my standard offset and reducing the strain on the bearing surely??
