i didnt tell them - had a bump - and they didnt notice! sadly clocked the rub marks from the 17's tho. thorough they were , the D**KS! anything that affects the "stance" and "ride" of the car has to be declared. Most dont mind anything 40mm and above - you go lower than that and they'll either not cover you or increase ur premium, but not by that much. If its cornhill dont even waste ur time on the free phone call, they suck ass.

Mine will be lowered 60mm, alloys, exhaust, I.C.E

Insurance mines a standard 1.2

Mate Norwich Union will absolutely bum rape you. I rang up last year, same car as yours, wanted about 150 quid so I didn't bother in the end. Might be worth a go though, you never know.

I rang my insurance company about my Eibachs. All they said was if the suspension got damaged they would only replace it with the standard Renault suspension. I told them about all my other mods (even ones I hadn't done yet) and they charged me about £50 extra. The good bit was, I moved from my original insurers as they even refused to insure my wheels but, because we have two other cars insured with them , they quoted me £100 less than I was paying with my other company without any mods.
