lowering front seats?

i have seen on here before info about doing this but cant seem to find info/guide,just a thought as its seems different maybe some one knows where it is or who posted it,
basically just dropping the front seats by taking them out and removing a spacer like thing and bolted straight to the floors.

Yes, if you take the seat out you can remove the washers inbetween the seat rail and the floor, but were only talking about 5-10mm here.

i have seen a picture in which the drivers seat looked a good bit lower than the passengers,
just a thought as gonna do a few bits and bobs ove the next few days as will be fixing gearbox/diff problem by the weekend hopefully.
