lowering: how far on 15’s

ive gotta ph2 16v clio 100% standard and i wanna slam it to the deck on the standard wheels

has anyone lowered their 16v clio on 55mm springs and lowered the torsion bar to match on standard wheels?

if any1 has can i have some pics plz?

also some pics of one lowered 35mm too plz

is it practical? will i have to mod the arches?

cheers

Kirk,

Ive lowered my phase II 35mm on standard alloys and rubber, the wheels tuck nicely up into the arches and there is no rubbing. Looks nice.....sorry no picks though.:( Didnt even have to have the tracking done!

your valvers probably sunk 10mm anyway so if you were going 35mm, the front wouldnt sink a great deal. when i got mine done the front had actually sunk 15mm! my advice would be lower only 35-40mm and keep the arse end slightly higher than the front to aide in handling. They do look much better when the tyres are slightly tucked under the arch.

depends what your going for mate, if its looks then lower it however much u want but i rekon (and especially with a valver) it will handle a lot more positivly if the rear is higher than the front. When they rolled off the production line thats how they were factory standard set up(arse higher than front)
