Lowering Mk3

Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help me out..... i have springs coming for my 2007 mk3 and was wondering if the mk3 clios have rubber seats for the springs to sit on inside the struts? Or if they are no longer needed for the lowering springs. Would like to know as it would save me from dismantling the old ones and keep them complete.
