lowering springs

considering getting some more springs for my mk2 clio, 60front, 40 rears. anyone had any damage in the past with it that low, and on standard shocks? I've seen pictures on google of damaged rear axles so it got me thinking. cheers

some people run 60mm front, but Ive heard its not a great ride.

eibach sportlines offer 40mm drop all round with a brilliant ride. i have them on mine and would not chose anything else.

apex also offer a simular drop (slightly more then the sportlines) but ive heard the ride isnt great.
