Lowering?

I'm gonna buy some lowering springs but just wondered how hard it is to do

Does anyone know if their are any guides online that tell you how to put the springs in step by step?

For piece of mind guarentee just get a garage to do it £40.

Can anyone find me some lowering springs for my 2002 civic, i've been told i cant go any lower than 35mm wanted to go about 40 but 35 will have to do!

you can go as low as you want, 35mm will be about as low as you should go on standard shocks, but if youo go to uprated shocks you can goto 60mm, any lower than that you'll need coilovers. have a look here - http://www.bbperformancetuning.co.uk/Products/Default.asp?type=dept&DepartmentID=1189

they sell lowering srpings to lower your car 30-35mm - recomend the apex

i would say so yes. eibach are also worth looking at if you fancy a progressive rate spring rather than a fixed rate

Easy to do...even easier if you had a torsion bar like a clio...but easy.

You'll probably be about 25quid in tools doing it yourself but well worth it...paying to have it lowered is a waste of money and doing it yourself you'll know its right.
