would i be able to drop my car 60mm with 17s on ? the tyre ive got is 205/40/17 . the car is a mk2 2000 Rsi . also whats better , shocks and springs OR just springs .

If the wheels are the right offset and width yes you should be fine

Shock and springs are better but coilovers are better again.
