lowering

Car  BMW M135i & E46 M3
I've got a mk 1 clio and just got myself some new alloys (15")
was wondering how low i can go on standard shocks before needing to uprate them too.
anyone know?#
cheers

You should change them with springs anyway realy but you can go as low as you want on shock just the ride will be bad and the shock will wear out quicker. The again if your running stock original shock they are old and most likly worn anyway to a degree o life span is an unknown.
