Lubricating air filter

Hi all, recently bought a simota aeroform second hand (I know some will say ditch it anyways but for now I just want to enjoy the noise )
The filter looks a little dirty and some of the meshing is showing very slight brownness/rusting. I've cleaned it all out ect, but what can I use to lubricate it?

Anything I may have laying around at work (mechanic) or in the garage that'll work?

Personally i would order some proper filter lubricating oil, there isnt anything i can think of off the top of my head that will do as good a job
