Lumpy Idling/Stalling

  Bumder With A Buffer
For quite a while now the Monaco has a rather lumpy idle.

Only way I can describe it is if if slowing down at traffic lights and changing down through the gears, once I stop the car goes to about 100rpm and almost stalls then revs back up to about 1200rpm then settles again. Occasionally it goes between about 800-100rpm on idle its never constantly 100rpm or whatever.

Thought I might of cured this recently with a re-cal of the ecu but that hasn't changed things its still doing it. Now its liveable as I have got used to it but today at a set of lights the 100rpm caught me out and I stalled the f**ker trying to pull off in second, I hadnt tonally stopped but when engaged the clutch at about 20mph the revs just dropped to 100rpm.

Had a quick check on here but can't figure out if it could be TB related??

could be a number of things. Idle control valve, Lambda sensor, throttle bodies dirty etc...

I had a similiar problem except my revs droped so low it cut the car. Never really found what it was but had the parametres all reset from renault and has been fine since. * touch wood *

Hmmm my front O2 sensor I think may be fcked??

My front O2 fluctuates like f**k between 48.8 and 751.52mV

The rear O2 mine is about 400-439mV pretty stable.

could be that. I had one of my 02 sensors replaced (cant remember which one) as when on diagnostics wasn't running as smoothly. But didnt fix the problem. Maybe try and fit someones sensor before you purchase one

bit of an update.

I was running the standard 6400.rst file according to my RSTuner and then the ron 98 .cal file on top of that.

Last night decided to chuck on the 6500_5404.rst and the 6500_5404.cal ron 98 file.

Seems to be running fine at the minute obviously it has to do a relearn but it idle a LOT better and doesnt jump around like it did before and stall.
