MAC30L goes to Crail.....

At Crail 1/4 mile racing yesterday for the 1st time in the Cup. It is still fairly new and tighter than a nuns snatch (just 2k).

I have ran a few cars before at Crail, ITR, XR2 etc and never had any bother getting them off the line - unlike the Cup. Its a b**ch! Good once its going but a bastit to launch.

Times? You dont want to know. But here they are anyway:

60ft - 2.5sec.

Terminal - 91.5mph

Finishing Qtr @ 15.2

Only got a total of 5 runs in. Other motors that I ended up against was a CTR (seen it run 15.4), ITR (ran 15.3) and MR2 (600bhp and it terminaled at 121mph )

I will need to get the starts sorted for the next time. Not bad for a 6 week old wagon though.

That is a very good terminal for a brand new car, try it again when your at 10 k. That MR2 is just crazy. Read some where it has 650hp! The guy spun it last time at Edzel in the wet half way up the strip, now thats power! I had a look at the turbo and its about the size of my head

Next time you got a night off and are bored bring the TEG over, want to compare it with the Cup.

Did the CTR pull away from you at any point?

No. Evens all the way. I pulled a bit through 2nd and 3rd but not much. that was when I got my 15.2 and he ran 15.4. Black 52 plate one.

Think that CTR had a exhaust/filter as well, defo exhaust possibly filter (noise) if its the one im thinking of.
