Macbook extension power cords

My mrs cousin has a longer lead on her 2010 macbook 13". I have searched for one on the web but all I find are ones with 2 pin plug. Is there any 'official' uk version?

iirc can't you just plug a figure 8 lead into the psu?

Mrs cousins is exactly the same charger as mine - but where mine has the 3 pin plug straight off the charger into the wall - hers has an extra lead which plugs into the charger then has the 3 pin plug on the end to the wall.

Checked your box, you get both the lead with plug and just plug with macbooks from new

Mines the 2009 model, bought it 2nd hand in dec was only a month old got it for a good price.

You can just plug in a figure of 8 cable if you want but they don't secure like the proper cord - lots cheaper though.

I'd go for the real deal, it's thicker so less likely to get damaged and it looks "proper"
