Macbook flickering screen!

Recently when i open my macbook screen it flickers for a bit then calms down.

I have noticed that when i close the screen (with it power still on) it doesn't go to sleep either.

I also sometimes have fine horizontal lines at the bottom of the screen.

Anyone have any ideas? new screen time?

Under warranty? (normal or extended)

Just book an appt and let them swap it.

not under any warranty... i wonder how much a screen is!
