Main bearings are ally/tin as well so there won't be a lot floating about that'll stick to a magnet!

Its just a lil something and its piece of mind. If there are any lil bits of metal its better they are on there than flowing through the engine in the oil! And when I do a oil change I will be able to see.

oil filter? if you've got bits of metal stuck to the sump plug i'd be slightly worried
