magnex..have i done the right thing..

managed to get a very clean condition cat back magnex from a lad i know for £150, its the one with the twin 3.5" round pipes.

1st of all..what does it sound like? and secondly..will it give me any gain at all if i get a dastek unichip and re-map it for the exhaust and the hillpower filter i already have.

I doubt you'll see any gain from the exhaust, 1-2bhp at the most if you are lucky.

They sound nice with a deep burble, until y0z drives your car and blows the baffles out, then it's loud. lol

yep thats what mine sounds like get a de cat and it'll sound even louder and you'll see slightly more gain with one too.

damn i couldnt get the vid to work on my computer, oh well its bought now its being fitted saturday,

by gains i meant with the filter and exhaust, if i get it re-mapped with a dastek...will i see any gains then? dastek say it should gain about 10bhp..but i tend not to believe any manufacturers claims these days

Keep the std filter and get your std ecu remapped (Grp N)
