Magsafe Adaptor no working

My macbook was bought in November 07 and the magsafe has stopped woring properly.

I know what is wrong, it is the wires in the magsafe end that have come loose.

Tried apple support and they wouldn't do anything, tried their supervisor, saying its a fire risk, saying all the apple products I buy (might have exaggerated this one :rasp: ) but still nothing, am I being unrealistic to expect a free magsafe on a 2y2m old £1K computer?

Anyone got an email address for anyone at apple that can sort things out, really dont want to have to pay £50 for one. Never had one go so quick before.

The supervisor even said he had used up all his 'gesture's of good will' :S

Book an appointment with a Genius. Tell him. If he says no. Ask to speak to the manager.

If they refuse. Mention customer services, how you're a good customer and you'll be making a complaint.

They'll sort it for you. But really, after over 2 years, you should be buying your own. You've obviously damaged it somehow.

Its really a tricky one, I was in the same position, I asked and I got one... ha. But yeah, its old and it wouldnt usually be covered, make a fuss

Might leave it until i next go to trafford since its not worth the special trip and do that then.

If it was broke at home however I am pretty certain it was my mother, since she just yanks it out rather than lifting it at an angle like you should when I leave it charging in the front room.

Nope I just rang up and asked nice, I wasnt able to give them a serial as i couldn't find it when they asked, so that may be why they just gave me one?
