Major clicking

(Dont know what happened there) 182 05 plate, driving home from work just, came round the island and all I can hear is a major clicking noise on the drivers side, not a pebble in a tyre sound a mechanical expensive sound.
Any ideas before I spend xmas eve striping bits unnecessarily.

Very vague description tbh. Does it only make a noise when in motion? When turning. Actual engine noise?

Explain more.

More so when turning, and occasional pull away..

First thing that comes to mind is driveshaft but you description is weak. Go and have a play and find out when it does and doesn't make the noise. Then come bCk and explain what you've found. That way then your get a better answer to your problem and more help from others.
