Major Misfire - Plugs

Hi guys, I have a huge problem with a misfire, last night as I pulled onto my drive I must have been running on 1 cylinder as I there wasn't even enough power to get on my drive.

On the insides of the HT leads there is rubber things that sit around the plug 2 of these have come out and are now stuck around the plug and I cant get a socket over the plug.

Any ideas on how to get the rubber out?

Is this an RS or 1.2 16v?

Thought so... I use the plug removal tool with a hammer to gently tap it over the rubber but be carefull as you can break the plug if you're not careful.

The spark plug removal tool... you'll struggle to get a standard plug socket in those holes!

Ahh right yeah I know the one, I have a thin deep 14mm socket

Just take the cap out which grabs the plug... you won't need it and it'll stop the tool going on properly.

Got one out! Just cylinder 2 now haha
