Major problem with my car

as above was drivin last night to pick my gf up from a night out and the cars headlights went off and pretty much every light came on,on the dashboard i turned the car off as i had no headlights on the car and thought they might just correct themselves but then it wudnt start rang sum mates and we bumped it dwn the road then halfway home the same happened again as above but the petrol light also came on this time but i had enough not for this to happen WATS GOIN ON oh yeah the speedo stopped workin also if any one has had the same problem let me no or even if they no wats gone on wiv it any help is appreciated cheers

Grammar is a necessity, not an option.

Sounds as though battery isn't charging, so could be alternator, aux belt, battery, or a loose connection.

there is also a ticking noise coming from behind the speedo when i try and start it apologise for the grammar im not the best at spelling and punctuation if thats how its spelt lol

test battery, sounds dead, if it's not then alternator needs checking

had the battery checked and its fine gunna get my mate to check the altenator 2moro
