Making a claim

Anyone know of the extra costs to my premium if I was to claim for a new front bumper on my cup? Ive aquired quite a few stone hits and what looks to be cats scratching away! Its not a major problem but would be nice to have a tidy nose.

Do the premiums go up a lot?

i wouldnt claim m8 as itll stay with u as u change companies etc

ull have 2 say u made a claim etc

not sure on how much difference it would make

maybe put a quote through on elephant.co.uk , 1 with a claim and 1 without mayb?

theyll always claw it back

claimed 700 for a damaged door (and paid first 250) 3 years ago - my insurance would be about 100 pa less without! (and Ive got protected no-claims) - so over 4 years, pay it back anyway!!

may go up LOADS more on performance car

colour match is good with a chip pen - or blue wax crayon if yourre a tight arse

The marks are quite deep in places and as its resin, not easily repairable! I used to work with GRP and related stuff, its a pain in the arris!! I might ask the bodyshop as its in for a new rear bumper soon!
