Making it look better

I was wondering of different things i can do to my car to make its look... well nicer. I don't want anything tacky/typical chav looking like body kit and neon light but i mean things such as de-badging and spraying the center badge (would like to know how you do this if anyone could tell me) any other thoughts of what i can do?
any ideas will be much appreciated.
